It's pretty good food! We were working in the area helping homeowners in foreclosure and decided to try a new restaurant. The service is fast and friendly. I am very satisfied with this restaurant. Definitely worth a try if you're around here.

I have a mixed review for Mi-Yard. My family and I went to Mi-Yard because we wanted to try a restaurant we have never tried before. I ordered the oxtails, rice & beans, and Mac & Cheese. My husband ordered the Fried Chicken, Cabbage, and Mac & Cheese. My daughter ordered Mac & Cheese. When we received our food, it seemed as if two different restaurants prepared the food. My husbands meal was hot and fresh. I could clearly see that the food had been prepared during the span of time that we ordered. The chicken even need a few minutes to cool off. My daughter loved her Mac and Cheese. My plate on the other hand...left a lot to be desired. It looked ok when I initially received it, but that went downhill really fast. The Mac & Cheese was not hot at all. As a matter of fact, it was barely lukewarm. It seemed as though it may have been prepared earlier in the day and served later on. I felt the same way about the oxtails. They didn't seem fresh or freshly cooked. The rice and beans were the only thing on my plate that seemed like it was fresh. I was so disappointed in the dish that my husband started sharing his meal with me. His meal was delicious. I would give his meal 3.5 stars. Unfortunately, I would have to give my meal 2 stars. Although my husband had a good meal, I don't think I will return to this restaurant.

Awesome hidden place. Very friendly fast service. I had jerk chicken yummy! Salt fish, cabbage, and rice. I was a little skeptical at first only because has very little reviews. But no worries people just haven't left any. It's amazing food!!!! I'll be back!!!

This can easily compete with all the other Jamaican restaurants for "Best Jerk Chicken". It has a brilliant smokey flavor and is cooked to perfection. The owners here are very friendly. I also ordered their oxtail gravy with the rice which was perfect. I now have 3 great/ go-to jamaican restaurants in the area. I cant say it is the best, but it is certainly up there with Clives. It is easy to miss in a side plaza, and not in the best neighborhood. There is an abundance of other caribbean/jamaican restaurants in the area so competition must be tough. The owner told me they had been there 8 years.... which shocked me since there was no yelp reviews. This place is an undiscovered gem and i never see it too busy. Do yourself a favor and stop by if you are ever in the area.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. I'm in for business and needed a place for lunch and decided to try here. Restaurant was completely empty when I walked in and only a couple people came in to pick up orders. The jerk chicken was moist and tender and hot. It was perfect. I got beans and rice with plantains on the side. Everything was just very fresh and hot and delicious.

The jerk chicken was cooked 100% perfectly, as were the rice and peas. With a side of a little bit of extra jerk sauce the meal was in the top jerk chicken i've ever had. No complaints.

This place was quite a surprise! Upon entering, we were met with two cheerful women who took our order. The restaurant was quiet and no one entered while we were there. I started to have my doubts... But, the food was great! The rice and beans is my new favorite thing, and I want to try to make it myself since I do no live in Florida. They make it with coconut milk, and I could have eaten a whole plate full. My daughter, who is quite a picky miss, ate almost all of my jerk chicken! She even liked the spicier sauce, or gravy as the server called it. A quiet little gem of a place.
